Hot Springs
Begin your day like the locals of Khao Sok: with a healthful bath in the natural hot springs. We take you there early in the morning to enjoy the warmth, the steam and the mist over the mountains in the background. Especially after a strenuous day of trekking this can replenish your energy and soothe aching muscles and joints.
Take a trip to this wonderful location. Soak in the naturally heated waters with temperatures ranging from 40°- 63° Celsius. The waters have quite a high mineral content, including calcium
and sodium, and also various iodides and chlorides, and are of course popular for relieving stress, arthritis and promoting skin care. One can just lie there for hours and soak up the goodness!
Coming from underground, the water has been warmed up from geothermal activity. The water passes through different layer of rocks and is super-charged with dissolved minerals. The deeper the water comes from, the hotter the springs get. The healing properties come from the minerals dissolved in the water.
